Meet our Founders
Lydia Boike is the CEO and founder of Suhu. Prior to starting Suhu, Lydia was a founding scientist at a Bay Area biotech startup. Lydia is a published author, with over 1300 citations. She is a researcher through and through and applies that rigor to her work formulating products at Suhu. She has a PhD in Chemistry from UC Berkeley.

I was struggling to find plant-based products without synthetic fragrances, and that met my standards for sustainability & functionality. To me, good plant-based skincare should smell great and feel amazing to the touch... on top of being healthy for the environment. At Suhu, I took on the mission to formulate plant-based products that light up the senses... to make truly luscious cruelty-free skincare. All while using trusted ingredients without any extra fluff.”

Yorick Oden-Plants is the Chief Operating Officer and founder at Suhu. Prior to starting Suhu, Yorick researched the impacts of human systems on the natural environment and studied how time in nature supports human wellbeing. He holds a B.S. in Applied Ecology from William & Mary.
