Meet our Leadership Team

Lydia Boike is the CEO and founder of Suhu, a skincare company. Prior to working at Suhu, Lydia was a founding scientist at Vicinitas Therapeutics. Lydia is a published author, with over 1000 citations. She has a PhD in Chemistry from UC Berkeley.

I started Suhu to fill a gap that I noticed in the vegan skincare market. I was struggling to find luxury vegan products without synthetic fragrances. To me, luxury means skincare that smells great and feels amazing to the touch. At Suhu, I took on the mission to formulate products that light up the senses... to make truly luscious vegan skincare. All while using trusted ingredients without any extra fluff.

I joined Suhu because I’m excited about building a community centered on care, for each other and for the planet. Sustainability doesn’t have to mean living off-grid or giving up what feels good. We can honor our ethics while still making products that are as luxurious as they are responsible.
